For more than thirty years of professional practice in Argentina and overseas, has worked in the design and management of important engineering projects. Structural engineer with Whitman- Atkinson & Associates, San Diego, California and Stress Analyst with Gulf General Atomic, La Jolla, California, U.S.A.   Chief engineer and Director of engineering with one of the leading consulting engineering firms in Argentina.

Independent consultant since 1992.

Has conducted feasibility studies, has been involved in the organisation of construction projects, technical audits and diagnostic reports for privatisation of public services.

As an advisor to private companies, achieved important cost savings through development of engineering alternatives and precise recommendations for the use and acceptance of external engineering.

  • For Parsons Brinckerhoff Int. and Transmel Consulting Engineers, Project Co-ordinator for the design of two subway stations of the line "D" extension of the Metropolitan Subway System of the city of Buenos Aires.
  • For FEMESA (The metropolitan Railroad Company of Buenos Aires), Diagnostic study related to the safety of earth retaining structures along the railroad track.
  • Diagnostic studies of the water supply and sewage system of the city of Córdoba, Argentina, oriented to the privatisation of the services.
  • Member of the special professional team created for the design of flood prevention and coastal and harbour protection systems in La Boca- Barracas area, for the city government of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • Consultant for the "Consorcio Oceánico", an argentinian-brazilian joint venture for the construction of the main sludge disposal duct connecting the cities of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, Chile, utilising the pipe jacking method for the installation of 2.10 m.diameter ducts.
  • With Inconas, Consulting Engineers, manager for the Urugua-í complex in the province of Misiones, Argentina. This is an hydroelectric project which includes an RCC dam (the second of its type built in South America), a 800 m. long and 7 m. diameter tunnel, and a 120 MW power plant.
  • With Consulting Consortium, Team Leader to identify and define all the possible uses of the middle 200 kilometres of the Rio Negro River located in southern Argentina.
  • With Conarcan, an argentine- canadian consortium (Inconas, Hydro Quebec, Rousseau-Sauvé-Warren, Lavalin and Shawinigan). Project Engineer in the Pichi Picún Leufú hydroelectric project, on the Limay River, located in the south of Argentina.
  • With Consulting Consortium, Chief design engineer of civil works in the "Centro-Cuyo Extra High Voltage Lines System". Complete design, bid documents and supervision during construction of the 650 Km. of 500 kV. Transmission lines between the Río III nuclear power plant in the west of the province of Córdoba and the city of Mendoza, Argentina.
  • With Chas T. Main & Associates, design of towers and steel structures of the 500 kV switchyards of the Salto Grande Hydroelectric dam project on the Uruguay river, the second largest of the southern cone. Supervised and accepted at the manufacturing plant the detailed project of the structures, in France (Spie Batignolles) and Spain (Eucomsa).
  • With Chas T. Main & Associates, structural design of the energy dissipater of the Salto Grande spillway. (Average flow: 5,000 c.m.s. design flow 60,000 c.m.s.)
  • With Chas T. Main & Associates, co-ordinator for the design of the navigation locks for the Salto Grande navigation system. Structural analysis of the navigation locks. Preliminary advanced design of the 6 Km. navigation canal connecting the upper and lower locks.
  • With Associated Engineering, New Haven, Connecticut, structural designer for the University of Michigan Theatre project, Ann Arbour, Michigan. Design of buildings and supermarket structures. Structural design of sewage treatment plants.
